Why are you getting fired?

I mean I’m probably not getting fired but we are seriously understaffed and I’ve been complaining since I got here that we need more people. I’ve been given a lot of extra tasks that were not part of the job description when I signed on and there are some completely implausible deadlines I’ve been given for projects. I have to do way more than 40 hours of work in a 40 hour workweek and the wheels are gonna come off eventually. I yelled at someone a ways above me on the org chart today because they expected me to drop what I was doing and come to an unscheduled meeting they were having after I had given her my availability schedule.
