These are the most awesome things to be a thing. Basically everyone gets an envelope full of information describing a particular character and over the course of the night you play the role of that character. One person in your group is the murderer and everyone else is trying to solve the murder using the clues provided. I use ambien (prescription) or melatonin (supplement) to help me sleep when I care enough to crash at more regular hours.

I get prescriptions for ambien, sonata and restoril from time to time, but my doc never lets me get enough to be taking it regularly. Melotonin didn’t work for me, unfortunately. Tonight my problem is just that I napped all afternoon when I knew I shouldn’t. Now my sleep schedule is all fucked up.
