The 12 Good Fatty Archetypes —
I’ve just completed a comic blog post about the 12 ‘Good Fatty’ Archetypes. It’s a critical examination of how ‘good’ behavior becomes problematic when it’s used to justify a bid for social legitimacy. Click through to read the full post! http://stacybias.net/2014/06/12-good-fatty-archetypes/

Why are you getting fired?
I mean I’m probably not getting fired but we are seriously understaffed and I’ve been complaining since I got here that we need more people. I’ve been given a lot of extra tasks that were not part of the job description when I signed on and there are some completely implausible deadlines I’ve been given for projects. I have to do way more than 40 hours of work in a 40 hour workweek and the wheels are gonna come off eventually. I yelled at someone a ways above me on the org chart today because they expected me to drop what I was doing and come to an unscheduled meeting they were having after I had given her my availability schedule. I’m not nearly diplomatic enough but if they try to fire me I’m gonna go out with a lot of proof that they are managing things incompetently and set me up to fail.

I’ll show you the best of western Washington and the wineries of the Columbia Gorge while you send resumes to companies that won’t hire you so you keep collectin’ those checks. (My relatives back in Pennsyltucky are pros at unemployment.)
I like the sound of this. However I don’t wanna be unemployed for very long… I get antsy when I don’t have something to keep me on a schedule. I’ve only been without a full time job or a full time class schedule (or both) for about 5 months out of the last 10 years.

Ima need a bunch of these
Kinda looking forward to getting fired so I can focus all my time on suing my employer, collecting unemployment and looking for jobs in Seattle.
