This helpful guide about what 200 calories looks like reminds us just how much healthy food we’re giving up each time we have a treat.
yeah, asshole. how dare you eat an order of french fries when you could have literally shoved 22 banana peppers in your fucking face-hole. what a piece of shit you are.
The point of this post is to show that when you eat healthy you consume less calories, sweetie 🙂
no kiddo, the point of the post was to create false dichotomies and treat food selection as a zero-sum game where choices are unequivocally right or wrong based on some rather suspect ideas of general “healthiness”. They claim we “give up” health when we have food that makes us feel treated and that argument bullshit.
OMG WHAT AM I DOING??
NOW I’LL NEVER KNOW WHAT THAT HONEYDEW TASTES LIKE, SUCH REGRET.
Oh wait, I can still eat them because the absurdly reductivist argument put in the original post IS. COMPLETE. BULLSHIT.
What should have been a useful guide of examples of measures of food and their calorie content was instead presented as dichotomies of good food and bad food with a heavy dose of judgement for the unforgivable act of treating yourself. The point should be:
If you are on a set-calorie diet you have the right to chose what you eat based on satiety and perceived reward to reach that value and nobody gets to shit on your decisions.
