Meanwhile, Jill Stein and Rocky Anderson had a debate last night. For those of you who are unaware, they are the presidential candidates for the Green party and Justice party, respectively. In terms of the differences in their platform positions (especially on fiscal issues), they are vastly farther apart than Obama and Romney, yet they managed to hold a civil debate that for the most part stuck to the facts, was big on policy vision and short on soundbites, and actually followed the format of the debate. I’m not saying you should vote for either of them (especially if you live in, say, Colorado or Ohio)… but wouldn’t it be nice if we got away from the two-party hell we’re in?
