Ok folks,
I’m applying for several small business grants and small business grant contests. Some of these have a social media element. Which is probably where my hesitance to add people to my networks willy nilly is finally going to play against me. Anyhow, it would be really great if I could count on support from ya’ll to ride me through this if they ask for some hoop jumping ala re-blogs, shares etc ad nauseum.

I want the whole Lil’ Bubba shebang to finally happen. The Bakery/Sundries, Food Truck and Catering to be something bigger. I genuinely believe that my life experiences have led me to this point. Having a stern income would also help Chad and I to focus on our mutual passions. Social stratification and food insecurity. I think missing out on the job to educate folks on SNAP how to better handle their benefits and to feed their family good, wholesome food really gave me the kick in the ass I needed to push on and find a path forward. I’m about tired of folks who live hand to mouth eating crap food because it’s cheaper. I have yards of experience professionally as well as practically to share. I can make a difference, I just need a hand upward. I’ve been in a position where I wanted for nothing and lived extremely comfortably. I can honestly say that it wasn’t until I experienced actual ‘numb feet while making dinner because we had no heat and deciding whether we or our pets got to eat (the pets always won by the way)’ poverty that I figured out what the hell I was meant to do. So, this is it. This is where I decide to figure it out and succeed or fail gloriously.
Because if I fail, it will be glorious.
