I have an idea for a sci-fi/humor short story where members of two alien races meet for the first time. Through sheer coincidence their respective languages have evolved to have words and phrases that are phonetically identical but their meanings are completely unrelated. The two keep thinking that they are communicating when in fact they’re just saying nonsense to each other.

Instead of writing dialogue I’m just going to transcribe conversations I have with my co-worker.
