Hey, just a friendly reminder that…

·         Our society is descended from violent, imperialistic cultures who valued the capacity to have an easily controlled and fecund underclass from which to create easily replenished armies and labor pools.

·         The value of a man was measured in his capacity to perform three tasks: to work, to fight and to breed.

·         Homosexuality is viewed as a threat to the power establishment because it reduces the frequency of reproductive success.

·         Gender and sexuality have been falsely colluded for centuries, creating the false meme that gay men are “womanly” and that stereotypically gay behaviors are feminine when in fact they usually have nothing to do with the behaviors of women (what percentage of gay men lisp? Now what percentage of women lisp… in fact barring two particular famous actresses can you name ANY women who lisp?).

·         The empires that colonized and dominated our cultural discussion were all white, and white-centric hegemony dominates our cultural viewpoint currently.

·         In the false binaries that form the preponderance of our cultural discussion of race, gender and sexuality all identities are compared to white, heterosexual cisgendered men and found inferior.

·         Any time you put in your grindr profile that you “aren’t into femmes” or “no blacks no asians” without examining the sources of your desires you are manifesting generations of cultural oppression that have taught you to hate groups that are not part of the power elite even when those groups happen to include yourself.
