You’re doing your thing, like you do, when before you a disheveled old man appears. His clothes are tattered and he reeks of ozone. “Yoooouuuuu,” he shouts, pointing his knobby wrinkled finger at you. Before you can make sense of what has transpired the old man grabs you about the wrist and drags you outside. “This is the Dreamstone! Our only hope.” He slaps the glossy stone in the palm of your hand, the day’s light fills it with a warm lavender glow. “There is trouble coming,” he blathers. “You must gather those to you, the ones who will help you save our world. This stone will let you call out to them across the realms of reality and time. But you may only pick five, for calling a sixth will destroy the stone and our hopes.” Who will you call together to assist you with over coming some unknown danger to the world.
