SO, if you eat a diet like an Indian person, or really anyone, even a vegetarian who is eating healthfully and consciously (and not living on potatoes, water and sprouts), you’re getting all the same fucking chemical chains as you would if you ate a goddamn steak. It just happens that your body has to build them, instead of just absorbing them.
Why don’t you go learn about nutrition a little bit, before you prove yourself to be an asshole for the entire internets.
Welllllllll not entirely true. Often vegetable proteins lack a couple of amino acids in significant proportions. There are about 12 amino acids (give or take, depending on which biochem book you got for lectures ;p) that we cannot synthesize ourselves – the essential amino acids. The best way for vegetarians to ensure that they do get those ones they cannot build themselves is to eat from a strong variety of crops – legumes, tree nuts, tubers and root vegetables, culinary fruits and a daily source of soy.
