Why would anyone assume that makes you a pedo? (of note, when I see the word pedo my mind changes it to the way I heard them say it on Being Human)

Sometimes I spell it ‘paedo’, does that feel more English? You can’t go to any kind of park – Amusement,Water or Neighborhood, without looking creeptacular. Why would a grown man go to a place where little children play unless he wants to abduct them, etc. I just want to fucking go on a water slide. Fuck all the parents accusing stares.
