Holy…. Dilaudid is what we gave my dad when he was dying of lung cancer during hospice.  Hopsice… ya know… when they know you are going to die and just want to ease the pain? 

 I have to rotate between three analgesics, and dilaudid is by far the one with the most kick. It definately does the job and slows my angry dead intestines down, but it’s pretty dangerous to be on for extended periods of time. I cant imagine geting a script for it for dental pain when vicodin and oxy are readily available. That’s like saying “I have a paper-cut”… "well, here’s some heroin.“ When I cycle out of it I feel gross for the first few days. Trazadone is nuffin. Like diet Ambien.
