I just want to state that one of the main reasons why Kentucky only allows “safe and sane” fireworks is because a cousin of mine had a jumping jack go up his shirt and burn him severly like 15 years ago and KY then banned those kinds of things from being sold.
Whatever, I’ll jut drive to Indiana and get the good shit.
I haven’t actually purchased fireworks since I was a kid in Texas, but it seems here in WA they don’t sell anything good any more. If you want to pick up the real stuff – mortars, fountains, bottle rockets, etc. – you have to go to one of the reservations.
