I was raised catholic, and I remember the diptych being a recitation at mass of the names of the dead. It came from this odd tablet thingy with two halves joined together. You put the names of the living on one side, and the dead on the other. And you pray for them. What that has to do with this, I have no clue. Enjoy the picture anyways.
